Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)

At the UG level, ckr institution of education College provides a 2 years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course to the students. This course offers admission to 100 students. Check out other courses available under B.Ed at ckr institution of education.

Important Information for Applicants
  • Teacher Eligibility Requirements:To become a teacher in any school in India, you must pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) or the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), which is organized by the government according to the guidelines from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
  • CGPA/SGPA Scores:If you are applying with CGPA/SGPA scores, you need to provide official documents that show how these scores convert to a percentage. These documents must come from the appropriate authority and be submitted when you apply.
  • Eligibility for Deputed Teachers::Teachers who are deputed from recognized secondary or higher secondary schools in West Bengal can apply, as long as they follow the guidelines set by the NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education).
  • Open and Distance Learning (ODL) Program Rules:According to the UGC (University Grants Commission) rules, universities can only offer ODL programs within the state where they are located. If you earned your degree through ODL and want to apply to this university, you must meet this UGC requirement.
  • Application and Merit List:The university will prepare a merit list based on your online application and counseling, but it won’t check the accuracy of the information you provide at this stage. If there are any errors or incomplete information, your rank on the list might change, and your application could be rejected at any point.
  • Verification:: After the merit list is prepared, your application will be checked for accuracy and completeness by the college or department.
  • For Deputed Candidates: If you are a deputed teacher, you must include an attested copy of the resolution from your school’s management committee (M.C.) or school management committee (S.M.C.) that approves your deputation with your application form.
Documents Required on the Day of Joining the B.Ed. Program:
  • Release Order:A document from your Headmaster or Headmistress allowing you to join the B.Ed. program.
  • Attested M.C. Resolution:A copy of the resolution from your Management Committee (M.C.) approving your deputation, which must be signed by the District Inspector (D.I.) of Schools (Secondary).
  • Teaching Certificate:A certificate from an authorized person confirming that you teach Class VI or above.
  • Photographs: Three passport-sized photographs of yourself.
  • Deputation Form: A form that needs to be filled out, available from the institution after you are admitted.
  • Certificate from Secretary or Headmaster/Headmistress: his certificate, signed by the District Inspector of Schools, must include:
    Confirmation that your school receives aid (either full, partial, or lump sum) or is unaided or part of a salary deficit scheme.
    Confirmation that you are a duly approved teacher.
    Confirmation that you are being deputed by the school to attend the two-year B.Ed. course (2024-26).
